EXPERIENCE REPORTS
Christian Finkelde for the catch world record shed carps

Monday 24.10.2005. I packed in the evening against 18.00 o'clock my car and drove like already some marks before in this year the 15 minutes to my goal waters, an excavator lake from approx. 6 hectars. The lake is relative to heavy due to different factors befischen. It has a small xxx density, a high arising at natural food and it prevails relatively large fishing rod pressure. Nothing the defiance was this my goal waters for 2005.
34kg 650g - the world record shed carp
Since the place, in which I could catch a shed carp of 19,8 kg in September and others, was unproductive, decided for some nights I in this evening times a place new for me to try out. In the summer I had spent and knew some at time with snorkels thus in approximately, what would expect me under water. I made for safety's sake however before still a few throws, in order to scan the soil in the place. The easy increase in the soil was fast found and thus decided I a rod on the increase to my right in approx. 35 meters distance to xxx itself and second to my left in approx. 25 meters distance in a similar depth. Since it was meanwhile at the end of of Octobers, wanted I mean rods rather somewhat more deeply to platzieren.
My set UP looked as follows: Rod 12 ft 2 ž lbs Fox Aquos, role of Okuma Axeon 90, Fox Submerge plus 25 lb twisted main cord, 2 meters of Fox leadcore, 170 g Fox elevator lead, a short vorfach (Short Rig) bound with 15 lb Fox Rigidity and size of 5 Fox series of 6 hooks at an eddy with ring. As seal I used rod a 20mm Squid & Octopus Fluro Pop UP von Dynamite Baits, which I had cut in wuerfelform, to at the second rod a 20mm rear a Attract Pineapple plus Pop UP, likewise from dynamites Baits.
I did not decide as to be fed also the past nights of the monthly October anything to only present but a PVA bag around the hook seal. I used here the new geflavourten Fox of PVA bags, these filled I at both rods with something Swim Stim Groundbaitpulver (green), 6mm Swim Stim pellets, 14 mm of navy Halibut pellets and something Pineapple liquid (dynamites Baits).
As both rods were installed ejected I and developed the remainder of my equipment. It had become in the meantime darkly and I enjoyed the silence at the water. I had this part of the lake for me alone; except me only a further angler sat at the water, however in another part of the lake.
Against 20.00 o'clock I could see a car moving forward on opposite lying bank and a little later schuettete someone so correctly to fodder off. Relatively unnecessary the action had itself, but did not disturb it me not far, since everyone finally must know, what it does with all anglers, who had befischt the lake the year over, shown that the xxx do not start on large fodder actions, thus was.
My good friend Patrick Scupin and we visited me a little later talked little. When Patrick said good-bye, I read still a few sides in the light of my kopflampe. Later I heard something radio and went then early sleeping.
An immaculate xxx
Against 6.20 o'clock I was waked by a steady tone at my right rod (with the Pineapple the Pop UP). I took up the rod and the xxx took immediately cord of the role. After some minutes of the twisting, the xxx drew its courses still deeply in all peace. It was still darkly and gradually approached the xxx. I constantly pumped it near, occasionally took he cord however again and again. One was clearly if that no wels were, had it one the completely large sea-inhabitant to be. It may sound amusing, but starting from approx. half of the twisting said to me my internal voice, that is the large Schuppi.
Within the bank range the xxx swam still times in the herb, since it was however already October, represented this fortunately no large obstacle. After I could recognize a large bright in the moon light Fleck by the water surface, mine confirmed itself Verdacht. Finally I could do it then keschern. There it lay now before me in Ke, the largest shed carp, which I had ever seen. Insanity, all the hours of waiting were in this moment forgotten.
I folded up that Ke and main header the xxx carefully on the ready-lying mat. Fast the balance with the cradle net was zeroed and the xxx into the cradle bag shipped. Before I raised the xxx made sure I me still times that all fins at the body of the xxx lay close and it would not thus take damage when weighing. Since I alone was, the Fox cradle bar was ideal. With their I could keep the balance calm and read off the xxx weight accurately.
In principle I was already more than content. I had one of the xxx of the lake imprisoned, which I catch wanted, the weight was actually only the Kuer. When the pointer of the balance shot 650 g with the raising of the xxx over 35 kg and remained finally with 34 kg standing, I was naturally completely flat. Unbelievably, such a xxx from a German waters! Before a few years I would have counted at the most at the Orient (or Raduta) on a such Schuppi. Now it lay before me.
I sagged the xxx carefully in and called only times my friend, who was pleased naturally also enormous. When I had reported to my friend Simon Crow by SMS of the catch, he answered me that this new shed carp world record was. I knew that the xxx is German shed carp record, but world record? insanity! Now well, record or ago; as it is called, records so beautiful is there, in order to be broken.

Also my dynamites Baits team colleague franc Warwick and some other friends, which I had informed about the catch, congratulated to me a little later. When Patrick Scupin of the work came, it fetched still fast my friend at home and came to the lake to the photo and video session (Scupi thanks!). After everything was in the box, I packed up contently and drove home, in order to let the evening as well as my friend end with the Italian.
One is however mentioned here: it does not concern when fishing the weight of a xxx, but around the experience at the water actually... I for my part had a particularly beautiful experience in the morning 25,10,2005.
In this sense, a experience-rich remainder season...

Nou record mondial
Pe data de 15 noiembrie sa stabilit un nou record mondial. Englezul Gary Hague a prins in Franta pe Rainbow Lake un Crap de 37,87 kg. Poze inca nu sunt de gasit, dar cind aflu ceva va anunt.
